London ELT library near Russell Square Tube

The library contains journals, photo-copiable resources, teacher training books, resource and reference books.

The library is run by the St Giles Educational Trust, a registered charity. There is no membership fee to join. The library is open from 1.05 – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and access is open to anyone associated with ELT. The address is: St Giles London Central, 154 Southampton Row, London, WC1B 5JX.

The Trust also providesĀ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers through the Tuesday Teachers’ Club andĀ ELT library Talks. The club is a twice-yearly programme of continuing profession development workshop sessions and seminars, aimed at post-CELTA/Trinity Cert level. There are seven sessions in each programme, covering a wide range of aspects of teaching, with a focus on practical ideas and techniques to improve classroom practice.
